"The scenes though out the production are skilfully held together by extracts from Lorca’s work, smoothly narrated by Chris Shepherd. Mr Shepherd brings not only his mellifluous voice, but also his own superb mime and dance skills to the stage. His 1930s New York-style soft shoe shuffle was a delightful interlude adding humour and lightness to the often intense mood."
